Courtesans of the Obishiya - Attractive scene of courtesans of the Obishiya relaxing on a verandah in the early spring. At lower left, a beauty holds a cat in her lap as she looks out over a plum tree covered with buds. At right, a woman in a black kimono holds a telescope as her companion whispers to her behind her sleeve. Mt. Fuji rises in the distance above the clouds. The first time we've seen this design in reprint.
