Comments - Fantastic illustration of travelers crossing the Oi River, the water crowded with porters carrying customers across the wide waterway. Two beauties ride sitting atop a platforms carried by four bearers, while other women and men ride atop the shoulders of the laboreres. The snow-capped peak of Mt. Fuji rises above the opposite shore as a faint red glow spreads along the horizon. A terrific scene full of activity and interesting detail, with soft shading in the sky, mountain, and water.
