Illustrated Tang Poems of Seven-syllable Lines - Handsome illustration from Hokusai's five volume series "Illustrated Tang Poems of Seven-syllable Lines" (Ehon Toshisen shichigonritsu), published in 1836. The books present famous Chinese poems from the Tang Dynasty [618 - 907] accompanied by single page and diptych black and white woodblocks by Hokusai. Most of the images are landscapes with figures, along with some animals. An interesting series by Hokusai, beautifully detailed.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two attached panels. Slight paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous mounting. Wormholes, some repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
