Comments - Beautiful scene of Mt. Fuji with the Fuji River in the foreground, in the unusual dai-oban or large oban format. The majestic snow-covered peak dominates the horizon with the water below winding placidly through the landscape. A wonderful panoramic view, with tall trees and lower mountains in the middle ground adding an impression of distance. We've seen very few impressions of this subject outside museum collections. A lovely, rare design.
