Comments - Attractive scene of a beauty playing the koto in an elegant teahouse or mansion. She smiles as she leans over the instrument, plucking the strings. She wears a red kimono patterned with carp and pine sprigs. Through the modern glass panel at right, other women can be seen listening to the music. The room opens onto a courtyard garden with a blossoming cherry tree. An interesting design.
