Gio and Gijo - Attractive scene of the sisters and shirabyoshi dancers Giyo and Gijo preparing for a performance. Each wears a patterned white vest over a print kimono tucked into long red pants, the legs trailing beneath the beauty's feet at left, and a tall yellow court cap. The woman at right peers into a mirror on an elegant black lacquer stand as she fastens the cords of the cap under her chin. The first time we've seen this charming design.
