Comparison of Poems - Lovely beauty portrait from Kuniyoshi's circa 1841 series "Comparison of Poems." Each design features a beauty in a scene from everyday life with a verse above. A band of confetti-like dots runs across the top beneath a softly shaded border. The red title cartouche is framed by yellow flowers and leaves. These attractive designs are beautifully detailed, with wonderful attention to the kimono and obi fabrics. An elegant and rarely seen Kuniyoshi beauty series.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Light vertical fold. A few wormholes, repaired. Slight soiling, faint stain. Please see photos for details.
