Beauty and Small Boy Listening to a Cuckoo - Charming scene of a beauty and a young boy watching as a cuckoo flies through the sky, both smiling happily. The child wears a blue kimono patterned with ginkgo leaves and tucked into yellow pants with a vine and blossom print, his hair pulled into a topknot. The beauty holds a green pair of pants as she kneels behind him, her floral kimono trailing on the floor. A stand at right holds a blue and white ceramic planter filled with water and blossoming irises, and a small sword rests on a stand below. A handsome design, nicely detailed, also in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical crease. Wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few marks. Please see photos for details.
