Courtesan Looking over a Railing

Comments - Charming scene of a courtesan looking over a railing, gesturing with her hand as she leans forward. She wears a striped kimono tied with a blue and gray diagonally striped obi patterned with flowering plants that reverses to black, one bare foot peeking beneath the hem. A wooden tray on the floor holds a platter of sushi, a bowl of food, and an elegant covered lacquer container. A sake kettle sits nearby. An attractive Edo era beauty design with wonderful detail.

Artist - Eisen (1790 - 1848)

Image Size - 14 7/8" x 10 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A few wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases and small stains, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
