Katsuragawa Choemon and Ohan - Great kabuki double portrait of the young beauty Ohan with the sumo wrestler Katsuragawa Choemon. She looks up at him with a sweet smile, while he looks down with a troubled frown as he adjusts a heavy plaid kimono draped over his shoulder. An attractive design from a rarely seen Toyokuni III series, with fine line work in the hair, bokashi shading in the sky, and handsome wood grain impression.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Thinning spot at edge, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, rubbing at edges, stains. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
