Meiji Imperial Army Prints - Interesting design from a group of commercial, mechanically printed images of the Meiji Imperial Army. Two chuban size prints are mounted together on a sheet of paper. Subjects range from portraits of military leaders in uniform, military drills and exercises, and calisthenics, along with battle and camp scenes. Prints are dated Meiji 35 (1902). An intriguing historic look at the Japanese military during the Meiji era.
