Hashihime (The Lady at the Bridge) - For the Hashihime chapter, which means Lady at the Bridge, Kuniyoshi shows the samurai Watanabe no Tsuna, one of Raiko's retainers, encountering a woman at the foot of Modori Bridge in Kyoto. The delicate young woman standing before him is actually a demon in disguise, and the warrior scowls down at her angrily. His muscled legs and arms are evidence of his strength, and he rides barefoot. An attractive composition with fine bokashi shading in the ground and night sky.
