Prince Mitsuuji Arriving at a Mansion, 1859

Comments - Attractive scene from the Tale of Genji of Prince Mitsuuji, the Country Genji, arriving at an elegant mansion. He smiles as a matron helps him with his coat, taking hold of the collar while he looks over his shoulder. In the room beyond at upper right, an alcove holds a floral arrangement in a vase, with a floral folding screen at right. A charming design, detailed with embossing on the white kimono trim.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Horizontal folds. Slight soiling, a few creases, spot. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
