The Storehouse of Loyal Retainers - Handsome design from Osaka artist Sadanobu II's series "The Storehouse of Loyal Retainers, " the drama based on the true story of the 47 ronin. Each page contains two chuban prints depicting the acts from the series, with expressive figures integrated into well-detailed settings. They also feature burnishing on the black areas of the robes, a deluxe publishing treatment. These colorful images are framed by the ronin's famous dogtooth border. A nice choice for a collector interested in this historic tale.
