Series; Six Jewel Rivers

The Ide Jewel River in Yamashiro Province, circa 1835 - Handsome view of a nobleman crossing the Ide Jewel River in Yamashiro Province. A young groom leads his dappled horse while a retainer walks alongside, carrying a banner protectively wrapped in cloth. Yamabuki or mountain roses bloom along the edge of the water, which is softly shaded in blue. A fine composition with a verse above.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. A few small holes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, a few spots. Please see photos for details.
