Clearing after a Snowfall at Nihonbashi, circa 1843 - 1847 - Beautiful early morning view of the Nihonbashi Bridge in Edo after a snowfall. Travelers, workers, and pedestrians crowd the bridge, with vendors carrying goods hanging from yokes over their shoulders. A few boats can be seen on the blue water below, and Mt. Fuji rises in the distance. At upper right, Edo castle towers above the trees.

Image Size - 7 3/4" x 12 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Vertical centerfold. Small loss and thinning at corner, a few wormholes, repaired. Thinning. Creasing, toning, soiling, slight rubbing at edges, stains. Please see photos for details.
