Stylish Handsome Faces in the Summer - Handsome design from a group of kabuki portraits featuring actors against the silhouette of Ryogoku Bridge on a summer evening. Each wears a boldly checked kimono and holds a fan or has a towel draped over one shoulder. The large expressive figures are nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair and soft pink shading around the eyes, contrasting nicely with the bold calligraphic strokes of the bridge. A great series.
