Comments - Striking image of a cart loaded with hay and a view of a grazing horse through a doorway. The color of the cart wheels changes from gray against the black body of the cart to black against the textured gray background, creating an interesting inverted effect. The doorway seems to be in ambiguous space, with the white mica horse almost floating in the distance. A great early, limited edition Saito design, signed and numbered on paper watermarked "Kiyoshi Saito." A terrific subject for a collector, a large format great for display.
