Street Knight Loading a Gun

Comments - Terrific kabuki scene of an angry street knight loading a gun, pushing a ramrod into the barrel as he grimaces with rage. He wears a blue and white cotton kimono with a bold pattern of splashing waves. At right, another man grips a sharpened bamboo spear, scowling angrily, his sleeves tied back with a rope. Great large colorful figures set off by a deep red background.

Artist - Kunichika (1835 - 1900)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 18 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two separate panels. Slight creasing and soiling, a few spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
