Original Kin-u Takeshita (active circa 1930s - 1950s) Japanese Woodblock Print
Corn and Locust

Comments - Interesting image of a locust perched on the leaf of a stalk of corn. A delicate, feathery tassel waves in the breeze, and an ear of corn is nestled against the stem of the plant. A few tiny blue and purple blossoms add a note of color. A handsome composition with subtle color and fine embossing along the edges of the plant.

Artist - Kin-u Takeshita (active circa 1930s - 1950s)

Image Size - 16" x 9 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning and a few holes, repaired. Creasing at edge, slight rubbing at corner. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
