Fuji Arts Overstock Diptych - Exceptional Bargain! - Handsome scene of the rebel headquarters at the mouth of the Kumamoto during the campaign to punish the rebels in Kagoshima during the Satsuma Rebellion. General Saigo sits on a chair at right, wearing a plumed cap and a military uniform trimmed with braid and epaulets, surrounded by rebels. The samurai at left gestures with his sword as Imperial Army troops approach. An interesting design with vibrant color, fine bokashi shading in the night sky, and nice detail in the figures.
