Beauty and Winter View, 1862 - Handsome portrait of a beauty in winter out for a stroll, an umbrella in hand and a plum colored scarf wrapped around her shoulders and tucked into her robe. The kimono features a pattern of wavy gray, black, and white lines detailed with embossing, with burnished furry black collar. A fan-shaped inset shows a view of Edo under the falling snow, with a bridge arching over a canal and snow-covered rooftops stretching into the distance. A lovely design from this rarely seen series jointly designed by Toyokuni III and Hiroshige II.

Condition - This print with excellent detail and good color as shown. Stitching holes at side, repaired. Slight toning, a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
