One Hundred Roles of Baiko - In 1893, Kunichika was commissioned to create the series "One Hundred Roles of Baiko," chronicling the diverse characters played by the famous actor Onoe Kikugoro V, whose pen name was "Baiko." Special detail - Embossing on the white kimono collar and the boy's white kimono, metallic pigment that has oxidized to a dark tone on the folding fan that has oxidized to a dark tone, burnishing on the black kimono and obi.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at sides from previous album inclusion. Slight toning. Some prints have slight soiling, a few creases, or a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Generally in good condition overall.
