Series; Inner Chiyoda Palace (Chiyoda no Ooku)

Puppet Performance - Wonderful print of two beauties performing a bunraku puppet play, with other beauties playing a hand drum and shamisen for musical accompaniment. A folding screen with pine trees provides a nice backdrop. The audience sits behind a bamboo blind at upper left. A charming print with beautiful color and lots of detail, including delicate embossing on the white kimono trim.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three attached panels, backed with paper. Slight toning and rubbing, a few small spots, light stain. Please note: due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
