Comments - Great kabuki scene of Bando Shuka I as the nun Narukami in the play "Kumo no Uwasa Onna Narukami." She grips a wooden post with both hands as she leans forward, a sly grin on her face. Below her, a monk played by Arashi Kangoro I falls backwards, grimacing and throwing his hand out in alarm as lightning bolts flash across the dark night sky. A bold image, detailed with fine line work.
