Comments - Handsome kakemono or vertical diptych of a courtesan out for a stroll, smiling happily as she looks down. She wears a black outer kimono with a bold bamboo pattern over two under robes, tied with an obi featuring a lozenge and flower design. Beautifully drawn. A charming Edo era beauty portrait.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two attached panels. Horizontal folds. Slight separation along centerfold, a few wormholes and thinning spots, a few small tears at edges, repaired. Toning, soiling, creasing. Please see photos for details.
