Cherry Blossom Viewing, 1894 - Wonderful triptych of court ladies viewing cherry blossoms in an expansive park. Several of the women play blind man's bluff while others stroll under the blooming trees. A lovely spring landscape with Mt. Fuji visible in the distance, the view framed by blossoms. A charming woodblock depicting this annual celebration, nicely detailed with embossing in the white kimono trim, burnishing in the black kimono and obi, and fine bokashi shading in the background. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Slight toning at edges, a few creases, slight ink bleeding. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
