Comments - Fantastic view looking down across a vast expanse of ocean with a man oaring a single boat across the water. The surface of the water ripples with movement, the colors changing as the current flows. The small figure is dwarfed by the immensity of the water, demonstrating the majesty of nature and leading the viewer to contemplate man's relationship to it. An absolutely terrific design we've never before come across. Published by Uchida with publisher's seal in right margin and dated Showa 29 (1954).
