Dry Goods Store in Odenma-cho, 1858 - Terrific view of the famous Daimaru Dry Goods store in Odenma-cho in Edo at New Years. Traditional holiday decorations of pine and bamboo blank the curtained entrances, and a group of traveling entertainers, including a juggler and a man carrying a trunk with a lion dance costume on top of it can be seen at lower right just beyond the tiled rooftop. We've never before seen this Hiroshige subject.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
