Comments - Lovely triptych of a group of beauties enjoying an outing to Asakusa Park on a fine spring day. They pause while crossing a covered walkway to watch the koi fish swimming in the water below, an attendant holding a fringed umbrella over an upper-class young lady. Japan's first Western-style skyscraper, the newly-opened octagonal Asakusa Ryounkaku Tower, rises in the background, with people crowding the balconies at the top for a panoramic view of the gardens below. A beautifully drawn image with delicate detail and attractive color, framed by blossoming cherry trees. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Horizontal and vertical folds. A few holes, a few small losses and tear at edge, repaired. Slight creasing, a few small spots. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
