The Mirror of Backstage in Full Bloom - Fantastic kabuki portrait from a series by Kunichika showing actors reflected in elegant lacquer mirrors draped in cloth. The actors are dressed in casual blue and white cotton kimono, preparing for their roles. The dressing room settings feature makeup brushes, containers of makeup, wigs, and towels. A wonderful look at kabuki artists backstage before the performance. Fine detail and lively color make these prints very attractive. Would make a handsome display.
