Prince Genji and Beauties at Seta, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Charming scene of Prince Genji and two beauties enjoying a stroll in Seta. The young nobleman smiles at his companion, wearing an elegant coat with a red floral collar and lining. The beauty in the center smiles back at him as she sits on a rock, one hand resting atop a bundles of slender poles with a blossoming cherry branch tucked into it. In the background, a long bridge stretches across the water to an island at left, with a second bridge on the other side. A lovely design with a handsome landscape setting.
