In the center, a wrestler wearing a blue kimono patterned with matoi or firemen's standards lifts up a tree with both hands as a swordsman attacks him. At left, another sumo grabs hold of two enemy's spears at the same time. At right, a fellow athlete grasps the neck of a samurai on the ground who struggles to free himself while twisting the arm of another attacker. A fascinating subject full of action.
