Early Summer Rain, Arakawa, 1932 - Lovely, peaceful view of an early summer rain at Arakawa. A woman standing on the shore under a blue umbrella converses with a person leaning out the window of a nearby boat. The rain falls straight down in delicate lines, the sky beautifully shaded with slightly darker clouds at the top, reflected in the shimmering water below. A handsome design that would make a wonderful framed display. A beautiful Hasui subject.
