Snowy Gorge of the Fuji River Kakemono - Fantastic Hiroshige kakemono or vertical diptych depicting a dramatic view of the deep blue Fuji River winding through a gorge in winter. A few boatmen make their way along the quiet water and a solitary peasant crosses a narrow bridge stretching across the canyon. Snow falls gently over the peaceful landscape, a large mountain looming in the background. An outstanding image with fine shading in the water and sky. Would make a striking display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two attached panels, backed with stiff paper. Slight toning, a few spots, creasing from previous rolled storage. Please note: due to the size, this print with be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
