Fireworks at Ryogoku Bridge, 1847 - 1848 - Terrific image of fireworks Ryogoku Bridge in Edo in summer. Red starbursts fill the night sky, the bridge packed with pedestrians below and the river filled with boats of all sizes. In the center, a large pleasure boat is decorated with red paper lanterns. A handsome depiction of this favorite summer pastime.

Image Size - 8 5/8" x 13 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. A couple tiny holes, small C-shaped tear, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases and small stains. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
