Beautifully drawn and delicately colored, these tranquil designs capture the harmony and beauty associated with this classic ritual. Prints from this terrific series rarely come on the market. A wonderful choice for display, or for any collector interested in this timeless Japanese ceremony.

Bidding Guests Farewell - After the tea ceremony is over, the host kneels at the entrance to the tea house, bidding her guests farewell. A woman in the courtyard bows respectfully as two other beauties wait outside, one wearing a short black coat. Wonderful fine detail in the architectural setting.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical centerfold. Small number on title cartouche. Some prints have slight soiling or a stain at the edge. Please see photos for details. Generally in good condition overall.
