Girl Holding a Goldfish Bowl, 1897 - Charming portrait of a young girl holding a glass bowl of goldfish from a green cord, smiling happily as she looks down. She wears a light blue kimono with an interesting pattern of autumn grasses and insects, including a dragonfly, a butterfly, and a cricket. over a red under robe, tied with a brightly colored obi. An attractive design from this seldom-seen Chikanobu series.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical fold at left edge. Tiny wormhole, repaired. Slight toning, a few small spots and creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
