Comments - Charming scene of beauties picking tea leaves. At lower left, a beauty pauses to smoke a pipe and chat with a companion who carries a full basket, a small boy at her side. At upper left, other women sit on stools beneath a canopy as they work. An interesting scene from everyday life, nicely detailed with burnishing on the black obi.
