Early Edo Large Format Reprints by Adachi - This handsome group of reprints by the famous Tokyo publisher Adachi features classic ukiyo-e designs by early Edo master artists such as Kiyonobu, Toyonobu, Kiyohiro, and Masanobu. These reprints are in an unusually large format, making them great for display. Subjects are primarily beauties and kabuki portraits, some in black and white and others from the early years of hand-colored woodblocks with just a few accent colors. Most feature the Adachi Publisher reprint seal on the reverse. A great opportunity to acquire a high-quality reprint of a classic ukiyo-e design in a large format suitable for framing.
