Comments - Handsome kabuki scene from the famous tale about the Soga Brothers of Iwai Hanshiro as the beauty Kikaku, smiling as she greets the brothers arriving at the Shogun Yoritomo's hunting camp. She wears a red kimono patterned with pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms, a trio known as the "Three Friends of Winter." A cloth curtain stretches across encampment behind the beauty, with a purple drapery bearing the family crest hanging above. An attractive beauty portrait with a sweet expression and fine line work in the hair.
