Cassia Tree Moon - Beautiful, original Yoshitoshi print depicting Wu Gang, a Taoist magician, pointing towards the moon, an axe in his hand. Wu Gang is the main character in a legend about magical cassia trees that grow on the moon. He was punished by the gods for misusing his magic and condemned to forever chop off the branches of the cassia tree, which immediately regenerated. Beautiful allover cloth embossing in the background.
