Stabbing an Enemy, 1847 - 1852 - Gory scene of a samurai stabbing his enemy in the neck with his sword, blood pouring from the fatal wound. The samurai kneels atop his opponent, a look of concentration on his face. The billowing cape on his back identifies him as a messenger or important warrior. A dramatic image depicting the realities of battle. The first time we've seen prints by this artist.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 3/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Stitching holes at left edge, a few small losses at edges, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases, slight rubbing at edges, stains. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
