Girls' School Sugoroku Game Board,1909

Comments - Charming offset lithograph sugoroku game board print featuring scenes of young girls going about their daily activities at a girls' school. Sugoroku is a dice game similar to snakes and ladders that was popular with both adults and children, with participants moving counters around the board. A total of 14 insets in different shapes show the children singing around a piano, cleaning, reading books, taking tea, and waving flags patriotically. An intriguing subject for a sugoroku board, in an extra large format.
