Comments - Charming portrait of two young girls dressed in elegant kimono for a festival day celebration. The younger child wears a blue kimono patterned with spools of yarn, tied with an orange print obi and red sash, a bird toy dangling from a slender pole in her hand. Her companion wears a green robe with a floral pattern in orange, red, and golden yellow, her carefully curled hair adorned with a large red bow. A paper lantern is displayed at upper left. An attractive and colorful design of children dressed in their holiday best.
