Comments - Terrific five-panel print depicting kabuki actors as a nobleman and four musicians. The nobleman sits at right dressed in formal attire and a black court cap, a rather surprised expression on his face. The musicians wear matching red kimono with plaid and a variety of motifs on the long sleeves. At left, a woman plays a drum on a stand, while the next to figures tap on hand drums. The beauty at far right plays a flute. Cherry branches covered with pink and white blossoms frame the blue sky above. An attractive design with lovely fresh color and fine bokashi shading in the background. Rare to find complete in five panels.
