Kasugano of the Sasaya - Lovely portrait of the courtesan Kasugano just after a bath. She smiles happily as she pats her neck dry with the sleeve of her tie-dyed cotton kimono. Her hair is held back with a white ribbon, and a few loose wisps frame her face. A beautiful image enhanced by a shimmering mica background. Rarely seen in reprint.

Artist - Eisho (active circa 1790 - 1799)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 10" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two small tears at edges, repaired. Slight toning, some loss to mica, a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
