Comments - Handsome Osaka kabuki triptych in the rare full oban format of a group of samurai arguing. The two men at left scowl angrily at the seated man at right, who glares back at them with a tight-lipped frown. The nobleman in between holds a folded fan and stares over his shoulder with his brows furrowed. The red panels on the wall behind them are decorated with the three hollyhock leaf crest of the Tokugawa clan. Nice large expressive figure.
