Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Onoe Matsusuke as a beauty standing in boat moored to a wooden post. She holds a slender pipe in one hand as she looks back over her shoulder. She wears a light brown kimono patterned with cherry blossoms, tied with a purple and white tie-dyed obi. Waves gently undulate around the boat, with white lines delicately embossed. Seldom seen in reprint.
