Imperial Court Viewing Maples

Comments - Handsome scene of the Meiji Emperor and Empress and members of the court viewing maples in autumn. The group is gathered in an elegant room overlooking a view of the water framed by colorful fall foliage. In the center, a large vase decorated with a dragon holds an arrangement of chrysanthemums. Nicely detailed with embossing in the white kimono trim.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Slight separation at ends of vertical fold at sides of two panels, small hole, repaired. Slight soiling, a few stains and creases, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
